Remington Rand formed a new division (Remington Rand 'C' Division) to take charge of building the pistols.
  • This is a correct Remington Rand 1911A1 that was shipped in 1943. It is one of the guns that has a serial number in the range that Colt also used, resulting in duplicate numbers.
